Marco Casini

Marco Casini - Engineer and PhD in Environmental Engineering, is an Associate Professor of Architectural Technology at the University of Rome La Sapienza, Department of Urban Planning, Design, and Architecture Technology. An international expert in Green Building, his research and design activities cover a wide range of topics in sustainable architecture and energy efficiency of buildings, focusing on advanced materials for smart building envelopes, innovative management and control systems, and the integration of renewable energy sources. He is a member of numerous international technical committees and provides technical-scientific consultancy on innovation and technological experimentation for the definition of standards and technical regulations in sustainable construction. A member of the editorial board of several international scientific journals, he has authored over eighty scientific publications.
