Alberto Biancardi

Head of International Relations at GSE, Member of the Executive Committee of AREL, Member of the Strategic Council of IWA, and Member of the Board of Directors of AEE - Electric Energy Association of the AEIT Federation. He has served as Commissioner at ARERA - Regulatory Authority for Energy Networks and Environment, President of WAREG - European Water Regulators - Association of European Water Regulators, Coordinator of NARS (Nucleo di consulenza per l’attuazione delle linee guida nei servizi di pubblica utilità) at CIPE, and General Director of Cassa Conguaglio per il Settore Elettrico (CCSE, currently CSEA). Additionally, he has worked with institutional and private entities such as AGCM, Acquirente Unico, ENEL, ENI, and Confindustria. Graduated in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, Milan, he has been a visiting professor at the University of Genoa and provided support to the AREL Association (Research and Legislation Agency). He is the author of numerous publications on Economic Regulation and Public Utility Services.
