MEYLE joins forces with NXT Gen Cup, advancing electric racing and EV readiness
NXT Gen Cup and MEYLE AG have announced a new partnership for the 2025 season, bringing together two cutting-edge players in their fields. MEYLE, known globally for its premium automotive aftermarket parts, will support NXT Gen Cup, the world’s first 100% electric junior racing series. The shared mission: to transfer innovation from the track to the road, while equipping workshops to meet rising demand for EV and hybrid servicing.
Headquartered in Hamburg, MEYLE delivers high-quality parts to over 120 countries, with a reputation built on performance and reliability. One tangible example is the integration of around 20 MEYLE components in the LRT NXT1 race car, a fully electric model based on the road version of the MINI Cooper SE. This platform clearly demonstrates how MEYLE parts meet the extreme standards of competitive motorsport.
This isn’t MEYLE’s first appearance on the grid. The brand previously backed Latvian driver Patricija Stalidzane, one of the standout talents of last season. In 2025, that relationship evolves into an official championship partnership, featuring a MEYLE-branded race car on the starting line. The company will also have trackside visibility throughout the season, including live branding and guest experiences as part of NXT Gen Cup’s event program.
“We are excited to partner with MEYLE AG for the 2025 season,” said Fredrik Lestrup, founder and team manager of NXT Gen Cup. “Their reputation for high-quality automotive components and deep aftermarket expertise brings real value to the series. We share core values such as promoting young talent, driving innovation, and making motorsport more sustainable, making this partnership a natural fit.”
“When Patricija Stalidzane approached me last year about sponsoring her in NXT Gen Cup, I was immediately excited,” added Isabel Boscaro, global sponsorship manager at MEYLE AG. “Young talents competing in electric vehicles on professional tracks align perfectly with our sponsorship values. This year, we’re proud to take the next step as an official partner, supporting both Patricija and the series. At MEYLE, we’re always looking for forward-thinking initiatives that reflect innovation and progress, and we see strong potential in this new, more sustainable generation of motorsport.”
This strategic partnership strengthens MEYLE’s position as an innovation-driven partner in the shift toward electric mobility. The know-how and technology developed in high-performance racing translate into real-world advantages for aftermarket professionals. This is especially true in Italy, where MEYLE has recently revitalized its presence with a strategy combining communication, technical support, and training programs. The brand is committed to equipping workshops with the products, expertise, and skills needed to meet the challenges of future mobility, ensuring electric vehicles are maintained with the same safety and efficiency as traditional combustion models.
